Nathan Donovan is an Albertan filmmaker and graphic designer. He studied drawing and gender studies at the University of Alberta before turning to cinema. His films center a collaborative process and draw from lived experience, exploring non-traditional family structures, intimacy and restorative love. His work has screened at festivals and galleries including Semaine de la critique de Montréal, Pleasure Dome and Galerie Eli Kerr, and has been featured in CMag, The Baffler, Bloomberg Businessweek and Mold Magazine. He is currently a graduate student in the deparment of Film at York University.
